If you want to see what Mace is up to for 2010, check out this preview on PinkBike.com .

Here is a little excerpt, but you’ll have to go to PinkBike.com and scroll down to check out the whole thing.

Based out of Vancouver BC, Mace is bringing its A-Game for the 2010 season. A new line of urban clothing is making its debut; it will blend clean styles and tech fabrics with features like DWR anti UV treatments. The armor has been revamped for 2010 with new models using d3o technology and updated features across the line. Their Epic and Freeride clothing lines will both see improvements and additions including a new all-mountain helmet called the NOS. The Mace gear is put through its paces on a daily basis by their team: Dylan Korba, Jay Hoots and Ryan Leech, so it is dialed for anything you can throw at it.

Dirt Jumping for Lunch

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Dirt Jump LunchWhen I tell my friends where we usually go for lunch, they tend to tell me to go to hell. Fair enough I guess because our lunches really are better than theirs. We don’t head to Subway, Pizza Hut or the Donair shop across the street.  No, every day we can, we shovel back our lunches at our desks so that we can head to our local dirt jumps for a session before we settle back in front of our computers for the afternoon grind.

JJ Jumping

Sometimes it’s just two of us, sometimes its 10 to 15, we toss all the bikes in the back of trucks and go. A couple of the staff riders are awesome, hitting huge lines and sending it with style, the rest of us range from bad, just trying not to case the 8 pack, to good, hitting the huge 6 pack gaps and just keeping it together, but any day is a  good day when you are on a bike. Some of us dig, some jump, some shoot pictures, it’s an eclectic mix of riders who just love to ride.

The cycling industry does have its perks and when it comes to riding, the crew around here is on our bikes every chance we get. It’s a pretty sweet job; ride, work and repeat.  The moral of this story; if you love to ride find a way to work with bikes, it definitely makes a job seem a lot less like work.dirt jumping 031
