I have been on the road almost full time in July and man has some really cool stuff gone down…
Logan Lake has a brand new, kick-butt park complete with dirt jumps, log lines, skinny rides and step downs. Cloverdale got a super rad concrete bmx park that also features a ‘flow’ zone created from dirt complete with wall ride, teeter totters and a really cool log line through the trees.

July also brought the 2010 Norco Product launch where the Norco team got together to hang out with top dealers, distributors and media from around the world to see and ride next the 2010 line of bikes, and check out the other brands Norco carries like Mace and a series of other products.
Oh wait, Mace gear… Here is the skinny: during the product launch I got to see the new armour that I have been putting work into with the head designer, Rob. The gear is leaps and bounds better for fit and feel and it looks like my feedback is being put to the test. Even better, Rob decided it would be a great idea for me to take the gear (only samples made) and rip in it to see if it really going to work. Sick, back to rider proven gear…The gear is testing superb and I am soo stoked!

Over the last month I have been in Wisconsin (see last blog) and Idaho and seen a couple of very cool projects hit the ground, man it is great to see that things are starting to really go off south of Canada! Wicked eh!?!
Oh yeah what up in July, well I hit up Canmore, Alberta to plan out some freeride trail opportunities, busted over to Chestermere, AL and rebuilt their jump park including the installation of a groovy fast pump track and then finished the month off in White Lake with a full rebuild of their jump sets.

In between everything I have had a chance to shred DH on a fluid 2 and tear up jumps on a 250 while reserving the last day of the month to hit Whistler on my 2010 SHORE!!!! SIC times and even SIC’R rides!
Glad to get this post up need to go catch a plane to Whitehorse so I can get back in time for Crankworks in the middle of the month; it looks like the push is still on!
